ObeliscBsAs.jpgOn our way back to Corrientes from Bariloche, we stopped in Buenos Aires for four hours. This was enough to get out of the bus station and have a quick look around the city. Our look around included the icon for Buenos Aires: The Obelisc, located on what is known as the widest road in the world. The other world renowned aspect of Buenos Aires is that it houses the gravesite of a very famous woman. We visited recoleta cemetary and I snapped a picture of Evita Peron's grave, which is always filled with fresh flowers. The grave site is of the "Familia Duarte" which was Evita's maiden name. After this we stopped and enjoyed a coffee in an open coffee shop and 1/4kg of icecream before heading back to board our next bus. It was great to be "home" again, in a city that I am now so familiar with after living here for over three months.
